On February 26th, 2021 Josef Kurmann, our colleague in technical support, will retired. Josef started with VICI in April 1989 and was for more than 10 years a “one man” technical support department. I am sure you will agree, that Josef has become one of the most recognized voices and faces of our company in the 30+ years that he is with VICI. Josef is one of the reasons that VICI has such a good reputation. His knowledge about our products is outstanding and he was always a reliable contact for all. Later he also was responsible for our ERP system and worked therefore for a while in our IT department.
He is now leaving us and of course we will miss him! Not because he is a “living database”, but he is a very good person with a great sense of humor. Stan Stearns, our founder and president, about Josef: " Through most of the history of our Swiss enterprise, Josef was a knowledgeable caring participant. He supported customers and colleagues and his presence will be missed. He helped to provide the bright future our company is enjoying. We hope that in his retirement he has many relaxing and fulfilling years. When the pandemic permits, I hope to see him again in Switzerland."
